Description
Here's a guy who was all for building his own pc, but after a lot of research, he just didn't have the confidence to work with the parts. Building it with him and helping him through each step, he'll now be able to upgrade and maintain his own hardware. I'd say the build turned out pretty well too, considering we got the 8600k to overclock to 5 GHz. Super proud of this little programming build and I hope he enjoys it!
Part Reviews
CPU
Before multi threading was desired, this was a steal. Great overclocking and an excellent piece of silicon for gaming and programming.
CPU Cooler
Easy to install, clear instruction, and silent operation. None of that obnoxious RGB either, just clean and simple.
Storage
Don't understand the hype... I get that samsung makes reliable 3d flash but at the same time its not like a 2.5" ssd can go all that fast so why pay the premium... go with a unit by adata or silicon power instead.
Storage
Its a hard drive... not worth the extra money over the blue series or caviar.
Video Card
As a card to get a load of display outs and to get into casual esports or small titles, I love this card.
Case
Beautiful case, easy cable management, but its a dust magnet for some reason.
Power Supply
