It must’ve been on sale when I got it. I don’t remember spending that much on the motherboard.

My CPU has never gone above 45-ish. That being said, the only thing shes done for now is play overwatch. She hasn't played any AAA games as of yet for extended periods of time. So I suppose we'll wait and see. It has some trouble with the operating system restarting. It'll just stay on "Getting Windows ready" and won't go any further into the actual restart. And overwatch crashes on occasion. I'm getting a sneaking suspicion my SSD is bad. May have to look into replacing it with something else. Any options? An Intel one would look really nice in there and I hear they're pretty high quality as well.

The Hue+ is amazing. The Cam Software that you need to install is not only easy to navigate but incredibly helpful in keeping track of temps and fan speeds and you name it. I was a little disappointed you had to install the Hue+ drivers instead of it just detecting the Hue+ right away but that is literally my only gripe about it. Go for it.

Yeah i did go for aesthetics with the little Alpine. And cost wise that c7 was pretty expensive, especially for a non overclockable CPU. I haven't had any trouble with temperatures above 20-35 degrees Celsius so for now that stock cooler is doing its job haha. If i get any high temps though I may look at that c7 though. thanks for the tip!

Well, my buddy apparently did more than break a pin on the 3.0 header. He bent two others. So my 3.0 header on my motherboard is pretty much kaput. At least my 3.0 to 2.0 converter is on its way.

Cool. Also for some reason at some point after i completed the build i switched out my motherboard in my part list. I have the PRO VD-plus, which only has four USB ports, which was a blunder on my behalf. So i did actually get a hub. So yeah just a little thing. And I'm gonna try hooking up my front panel USB again. Thanks!
