Sorry for the late reply, it's been ages since I got back on here, lol. To be honest I wouldn't recommend the speakers at all. He replaced them with a much better system now, but honestly, it just sounds so generic. The max volume of them is pathetic, they are small, and are not good for any gaming at all as the sound distortion is really bad.
Did some experiments...
Plugged the PSU directly into my wall outlet. Still makes the noise.
Manually removed GPU from entire case. Still makes the noise.
Disabled ALL fans. Still makes the noise.
At this point I'm almost positive it's my PSU, I really don't want to send it in though just to fix that. It's driving me crazy.
Okay it comforts me to know that someone actually can understand what I'm talking about. I'm going to see if the power strip I'm connecting all my cables to is too weak of an output or something, because that might be the problem...thanks!
Sorry for the late response, they're quiet as hell and as far as I'm concerned the lower front intake has great flow. IMO there's more than enough airflow gaps. My temps are always very cold, the fan controller reads no lower than 30 degrees at all times any ambient part of the case.
Lol good luck :D
That paint job is sick, thinking about doing a woodland camo job on a PC for my parents.
Yeah I've checked them, but the problem isn't on the physical power buttons. It's when I click turn off from the windows menu. Good guess though, I've triple checked the umbilicals because that was my first assmption.
Right, but I know for a fact I'm clicking shut down. Tomorrow ill mess with classic shell and power settings and update this post for any news.
Seriously it is, one of my builds on here has it and I love it!
Thanks, I tried my best to get good parts :D
Thanks, I sure hope. Can't wait for standalone xD
I'm satisfied, Intel ALWAYS wins in dayz. Dont know why, but opt for the i3 if youre looking for a budget dayz rig. Even though it's CPU intensive we just got done playing origins in a huge city. He was playing it maxed with 30 FPS which is great for this cheap of a rig.
Yeah I like the FX 6300, believe me im not a biased person. But the i3 did perform better than the 6300 in dayz, so that was a huge win over to intel this time. And also, the mobo does support xfire.
More pics = more up votes...
Lol nice, I bet you loved it, because I know I love mine!
I just said building a pc yourself gives you a better sense of pride than buying it made by minimum wage workers in china xD
Well I'm a noob so don't take my word on this but what I would consider is for 3x eyefinity having two standard monitors and one 120hz monitor. By that, I mean the center one should be a good 120hz refresh rate one for maximum visual quality. The left and right ones, I'd go for a standard 60hz asus monitor, and I highly recommend mine. I've never owned one better than the vs238h-p so I really can't vouch for other ones, but it makes games look almost real and is all I need since I won't be getting 180 FPS on crysis 3 maxed out lol
Your grandpa uses flight sim? My grandpa gets pissed when he can't turn the computer on...
I spent 1000$. Why? Because I was bored. Lol I know the feeling of needing to build more PCs every day :D
Lol not really racist, just whenever I think of prebuilts I think of that video gigabyte made with the huge assembly line. I better take that off the description before I get more comments about it...
Thanks man, I suggested that a while back and can't believe you did it! Thanks norm and you for actually listening to the forum community :D
Nice, but why the 1000 watt PSU? Even a 750W could handle two 760's and heavy overclocking.
Nope, AMD excels in bang for buck but intel excels in sheer performance. The 760 beats the 7950 in most games and with that 6300 they'll make a great gaming machine.
Lol, gotta love the k630
If you want a cool red/black mouse that won't blow a hole in your wallet, check out the e-blue cobra jr. It's on amazon for 13$, I use it with a high end rig (4670k+770) and its really nice (and glows red :D). In case you're looking for a keyboard, I'd recommend the cooler master storm quickfire TK with cherry mx red switches. Red backlit, I also own it, and it looks great with my color scheme.
Sorry for the late reply but I would choose the i5 4670k for doing what you're doing, plus the i3 uses the 1155 socket which some people would consider "outdated" even though I don't think it ever will be.
You just won mom of the year award. First time I've ever seen a mom and son build, that's pretty awesome.
I'm 14 and just built a 4670k and GTX 770 with most of the money I saved up, (I'll post it soon). But honestly I don't know who helped you pick out these parts, you should of at least posted it on a forum and had someone review it. Dont be suprised if your room catches on fire because of that power supply, and you should of gone with dual channel memory too.
Because most people wouldn't consider 3570k and 670 "overkill" for 1080p gaming on settings that don't look horrid.
For the part list, add them all like you would regularly, then change the merchant to custom and enter your purchase price. That way it'll look cooler and people viewing the build list can see right off the bat your CPU and GPU :)
Give us a title, and move the stick of ram on the far right to the empty blue slot. Take advantage of dual channel memory bro!
Nice case mod wasn't expecting that. Wait its the guy with 3 780's, I probably should of expected that LOL. Love all your builds, +1 :D
If you don't have some fancy GPU propper at the moment, just use a paper towel cardboard tube or something like that. Works fine.
Now change this build to "the upvote sponge" lol
I feel you about UPS man, I feel like they don't care about where your package ends up as long as they get their paycheck. Other than that, I like the r4 and nice APU, +1.
Never seen a thermaltake case that sexy, looks like a corsair with awesome blue accents. +1 for trying windows 8 and the hardware.
Well look at the firs pic, there's no water cooling block on the 690.
Just to let you know kingwin is a seasonic rebrand...
Alright, it's just giving me tons of OCD lmao. Thanks a lot :)
Nice, I thought the same thing about you for the whole CPU installation mess, but thankfully amd has much easier sockets than intel.
I do not own one, but I'm almost positive the fan controller supports 3 fans. Don't count me on that. If it does have three fan support, you have two options:
buy a separate 5.25" fan controller
buy a molex to 3-pin adapter for the remaining one fan, but be warned the adapter will constantly make that fan run at full speed.
I feel your pain about the cable management in that case.
Looks good, but i would prefer the gtx 760 over 7950 any day. But that's just me, they're both beasts for gaming.
I'm not saying I own one, but you can get one off of newegg for 35 dollars which is dirt cheap for a decent case that has a side window.
Better have 911 on hot dial for that PSU...
Another dayz player! Welcome my friend :D And since dayz is and always will be (even the standalone) a very CPU intensive game I'd get the i5 3570 for 15$ more, it will be well worth it, and it fits your motherboard.
Good luck in cherno lol
It is? Wow I never knew that, I thought it was some cheap time bomb lol. Lots of PSUs are seasonic rebrands then. I just think the name "kingwin" makes it sound Chinese and untrustable, but hey who cares if it works :D
Sata cable? Wait nope it's not forgot about what you said in the description.
Seen alot of kingwin PSU's lately, how's it holding up for you?
