The 8086K is, what I would consider, the absolute best along with the 9900K. The only difference between the two processors is just the two cores. If he's just gaming, any i7 or i9 Coffee Lake CPUs (both 8th and 9th generation) are top of the line, I would say.

Did you happen to turbo clock the CPU to its 5 GHz? I'm curious.

This is a super clean build, my friend. I can see why you had to move the tubing in the vertical position cause there really is no room for them next to the RAM. Really love the blue, don't see those too often. Hope it's treating you well. :)

Saying the 8086K isn't top of the line is like saying the 1080 Ti is no longer a valid GPU. Lol

That's what I was wondering too. Nothing wrong with having just one exhaust. Just worried that card isn't getting as far as it could if it's gobbling up warm air.

Is that radiator connecting to your GPU mounted against anything? I ask cause I'm curious if it would shake the case at all. It's a great build nonetheless. Definitely has power!

Adding onto this, just get a wooden board or something and place it under the PC. Will collect less dust bunnies.

I really dig how minimal your setup is, very clean. But yeah, how everyone is saying, you won't be able to overclock the CPU since it's a locked chip, but you may be able to push the RX-580 a little further. Glad to hear it's treating you well without the overclock though, my friend. :)

I mean, he's probably gonna get about the same performance out of that one 2080, plus it saves the hassle considering most games don't support SLI and most likely choked thermals of the top Asus 1080.

I'm hoping around tax season to make a few upgrades like add a few more SSD's and some CableMod extensions to add a little bit more clean look instead of the standard black.
