Hello there this is a build I came up with that I think you might be very happy with for both gaming and video editing. 2 free games, usb 3.0, 1TB, ssd, gaming keyboard, laser mouse, and if you change your mind someday you could overclock both the gpu and cpu.
Hi there. What kind of FPS are your getting in BF4? I have a 7970 ghz with 3570k wundering if it will be worth it to get this 144hz monitor since I have to give up the 1440p monitor i've been using. Thanks
Ok I'm glad I have these forums to learn things like this. thanks mate
dang I already have everything but the second GPU. I'll think about buying another PSU. THANKS
I'm thinking something like this..
Sorry I dont understand. What psu isent worth the price? and which build will game better?.. its the same one
Compact, cheap, powerfull [:
this is under 2,000$ with 2 GFX cards and will perform VERY well for gaming.
thanks for your opinion
well great minds think alike i guess!
It just depend how much the Steambox happens to be. If it's 400-500$ you should buy another PC like this one which is compact, more powerful, and can run another OS like Ubuntu which kicks ***. If it is 300$ or less on the other hand a Steambox would be the way to go in my opinion.
Hopefully someone will correct me if i'm wrong but I believe the graphics processing will need be done on the end of your HTPC. Your current PC will just stream the game content.
Well until Steam's announcement today I had been planning on running Ubuntu Linux but now I will probably run SteamOS alone!
here is the one i'm working on http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1GR5i
Hello sorry for the late response, your right i'm never on here! lol. To answer your question there in no bottle necking issues what so ever with the pair. I would say the work very nicely together.
The card is big but fits in my mid size case no problem. With the driver I had no issues either just installed them and everything worked well. I couldn't recommend this card more. I have it stock still because I can max every game out at 1440p. Once you get to know W8 it works like a dream too.
Hey there the card is actually pretty quite. Almost silent while idle. And the performance is great. I can play all the games I've tried like BF3/ Planetside 2/ Shogun 2 on high/ultra settings at 1440p
Darn wish I would have known.
thanks and I just couldn't pass up getting 40$ of the extreme 4 at microcenter for buying the 3570k
Hey there, just because I already had the HDD lying around.
The case and fans that come with it are of good quality, especially for the relatively low price point. I didn’t come across one problem with it the entire build. It is esthetically pleasing as well.
Thank you. Ya I would say get it!
very nice build. happy to be 200 (:
I agree, replaced the Samsung.
Thanks, I'll check that out.
