Its a Mid Tower - Not sure of model, purchased used.
White NZXT Mid Tower.
I am just trying to verify the CPU is working prior to buying a decent motherboard. I figured I could test it on the OEM one, but my thoughts were it wasn't supported when I got no signal.
Thanks....just hoping 3770k works.
It was a lenovo think centre M91p I believe. It came with i5 2400...the 2400 was working fine, figured I'd try the 3770k to see if it worked in there....powers on, but no signal
Any chance there is anything cheaper than this one? If not, I suppose this will have to do.
I am actually.using a differentiate supply. I ended up testing everything today and its up and running smooth. Getting case in tomorrow so crossing fingers I don't have issues w that
Can you elaborate....it has a pretty normal 630w PSU.
What issues would I run into....my main thing is I can't seem to locate where the front panel connectors from case would it into
I swapped out psu 450w evga 8p+ bronze so.now.I can run gpu at 100%
Yeah but for a sub 250 computer, probably not expecting to play the most demanding titles....I think you knocking a $200 computer a bit much
I personally like it cuz I don't play many games so I'll prob keep it for myself and sell my other Ryzen build
It plays fortnite at 1080p pretty well with low to medium settings and 100% scaling res. Just on the drop it studded a a bit but once on ground its like 60-100 fps
I think 200 is pretty easily doable
See this is where I am at with pricing I think this would be fair if I sell.
Ya I have thought about this as well. May just keep it temporarily and try to sell my Ryzen main, since I don't do much currently on my CPU.
Seeking a realistic selling price.
I had to shop around to get deals....so I paid $106, but that was bargain hunting.
So you see no value in a 660ti, ram, CPU / motherboard? Sounds like you don't know too much no offense.
Sounds pretty low....but who knows
I agree. It is a nice rig
Really....that's the same as my Ryzen 3 2200g. Stock its like 462
Tried dvi and hdmi. No vga output on monitor and I don't have a VGA to etc adapter
Also the card doesn't have a VGA output
So I was able to get Windows 10 working. However, found out this Mobo does not support bootable USB. So had to install via another computer. Then hook up. Also looks like sata ii ports.....so probably hold off on SSD. Thanks for help.
Is there a way to see if compatible w SSD and/or Windows 10
It's running ddr2 ram/AMD athlon 64 x2 6400 CPU/Motherboard--dont recall off top of head, cuz it's packed up since I'm flying back to AZ tomorrow. Uh but I'd estimate 10-15 years...
Phenom ii x4 965 Black Edition For Sale....Not sure if you interested. Looking for 40
Edited with 3000Mhz Ram and 450 PSU for more cost effective solutions. See updated List...Does that look better for a budget build?
I wanted the case fans specifically for cosmetic appeal. That is where I wanted to spend a little extra. I did get a slightly higher PSU since I wanted a semi modular and that was the lower priced semi modular for 80+ bronze.
So I don't forsee myself needing that much storage. My current computer for last 8+ years has only 365gb storage. I just plan on putting operating system, league of legends and maybe firefox on SSD....unless firefox is dumb to put on that. Also. I am trying to keep the budget under $500-- don't see why this build would need 750 w supply
Thanks for advice, just looking to keep costs down for now and maybe upgrade more storage down the road
