New friend feelsgoodman
Upvoted for using xeon cpu.
the mk2 version fixed most of the cooling issues that the original black and white one had
I told him to do the evga b stock sale for me on discord so he's good.
Upvoted for using xeon cpu
Evga B stock is very reliable from my experience.
I have bought 2 evga 500 w1 from them and are still working.
If the worst does happen, you still have a 1 year warranty on them.
Also, being used doesn't affect the overclocking on gpus unless it was under extremely high voltage for the highest overclock which is very, very unlikely
but it's dramless therefore it's bad.
The ssd itself is fine..
It just seems that the quality control slipped through.
Very solid build you have there and cable management is decent for a tiny rosewill case.
Also one last thing, sure you have warranty on your power supply but good luck rmaing the board and video when the psu dies on ya.
He only said that so he can get you to buy the power supply and considering you smelled something funny from the psu when it blacked out, it may be the beginning of the psu failure.
Well the pentium still has much stronger single core performance but the A10 still runs away with the quad core performance kek.
I guess it depends how much does the program like multicores.
The Core 2 Quad Q9650 is the fastest you can get but seems like it needs the bios to be updated.
Q9550 works on the the stock bios.
I don't care. You cheap out on a power supply, then the rest of the system will die with it.
I've gotten an insignia 450w 80+ power supply.
At first it worked fine with a xeon e3-1225+ rx 480 rig.
Then I moved it to a i5 4460 and GTX 780 rig.
As soon as I turned it on, it started to make electrical noises and I pulled the plug.
It made a small trace of smoke on itself and not only it took itself out but the gtx 780 (memory conductors smelled like garbage and are clearly burnt out) and the pcie slot with it.
So please, for the love of god.
The gtx 1050 ti barely draws any power (most use 75w with the pcie only version and 90-100 watts with a 6 pin)
That being said, Corsair's VS series psu are pretty mediocre overall and the orange labels are even worse (VS 400 orange label died at full load)
He should get a CX 450
oof. I forgot the a10-6800k existed
Athlon X4 760K is your best bet but it's still painfully slow.
More icing on a good cake.
I'll keep that code in mind for the next evga b stock sale.
Thank you for letting us know.
PCPartPicker Part List
That's youtube drama to ya.
I would personally choose the meshify S2.
It also supports up to 185mm of cooler height so your heatsink should fit.
It has a propriety motherboard, case and power supply.
You can't change any of those parts in the HP computer.
You're kinda **** outta luck unless you take out the cpu, ram and storage and put them in a new motherboard, case and power supply.
Dont watch him then?
Also, bold of you to assume all 90 million subs are actually actively watching his videos.
If you move to america, you can find used parts very cheaply.
Or use aliexpress xd
The person who cheated on his wife was called ProJared.
He also sent nudes to his fans and subs lel.
That sounds lovely.
No wonder you want to throw 3k dollars for her build.
but they have a titian Z for 350 dollars....
A ******* Titan Z...
Man, that apu sucks.
It's an am4 chip based on bulldozer so it should suck alotl
You're better off with an athlon 200ge by a long shot
I like how nobody pointed out that the A6-9600 doesn't exist.
The A8-9600 exists thou.
Well it's a 185 dollar board vs a 110 dollar board.
I better ******* hope that it has better vrms and more features.
Besides, the tomahawk handled a 2700x at 4.2 ghz just fine with the hottest point being 71 C which is still acceptable but anything connected to the heatsink stayed below 58 C.
I could see how scratching a motherboard against a stand off when installing it into the case can ruin your day thou.
I though the most nerve wracking part was either the front panel connectors or pressing the power button.
However, as you can see in this chart where msi dominates the mid-high tier boards while asrock provides good low-mid range boards.
Gigabyte's Aorus series isn't the best due to the heatsink on the vrms getting hot and the vrm themselves not being the best and Asus boards also having terrible mid range board for the same reason as Gigabyte.
We can't simply follow by brand now since everyone is starting to make their bad apples and thus need to see reviews on the boards themselves to make a proper option for ourselves.
Found his list
Looks like a flawless part list for him.
I fourth this
A x79 build..
The build itself looks pretty good and the cpu gives the ryzen 5 2600 a run for it's money when overclocked to 4.3-4.5 ghz
This case has some fanastic airflow, easy cable management, looks clean and plenty of fan expansion upgrades.
The bitfenix formula gold lineup are really good quality, quiet, has extremely good ripple and voltage suppression and relatively cheap. Only downside is that it's non modular.
Have fun with your build!
Btw, there is people on youtube who got away using a 240w psu in a ssf dell optiplex 790 with an i5 2400 and gtx 1050 ti
This guy has a 250w psu in a dell optiplex 7010 running with an i5 2400 and gtx 1050 ti.
Your power supply is more than enough.
**** HP motherboards and power supplies aa.
What ssd do you have?
A ssd works fine up to 60 C and usually starts throttling at 70 C.
Teeny, tiny power packed pc.
That means you can only can get one gift card for yourself sadly.
I have no clue at what time they end but the promotion applies mainly to their "FOCUS" series lineup.
Is that a ************* jojo reference.
So you aren't recommending any other board b/c you can't spend 2 minutes installing an I/O shield.
Also the msi b450i gaming plus ac has the exact same vrm setup as that overpriced asus strix x470 board.
Then again, unless the user is going for extremely high overclocks on his 2700x, he can get away with an asrock b450 fatal1ty gaming k4 ,despite the 3 phase vrm setup, as the vrms stayed cool with the 2700x
Grab good deals on cragslist, ebay auction, letgo, offer and gumtree or a constant combo on ebay you can get it every time you check there (ie the intel dh55xx+xeon x3430/3440.
Get a good case as that's your main bait, get a psu that isn't total grabo, cheap gpus like the rx 4xx/5xx is great options for people on a budget.
Take good pictures by taking the desktop to an open area with good lighting and set the price 15-20% higher than what you built it for.
I mean, x58 and x79 are still relatively expensive unless you get a good deal on them.
Also x99 cpus are quiet a bit harder compared to alot of the older intel platforms.
Why people want them for that high?
No clue xd.
I doubt that.
Just b/c the psu performs slightly better at the 30-60% efficiency curve doesn't mean that it's required to do that.
A well built psu will be able to handle those wattages for years.
Also, the pc is nearly at the very max it'll be able to do
Switching to a 9900k and 2080 ti will only give off a little bit more power than the current rig in the list.
And in gaming loads, the power consumption loads will be far lower than in workstation loads.
GamerNextus got away with a 450w psu with an 7700k +1080 rig.
