CPU Prices don't change by 50-100 dollars to downgrade to a i5. I would suggest he just goes Rad 290 or 390

This is great for it's price, but he compatibility note is important about that case. "The NZXT Source 210 (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case supports video cards up to 330mm long, but video cards over 230mm may block drive bays. Since the Sapphire Radeon R9 380 4GB Nitro Video Card is 238mm long, some drive bays may not be usable." I suggest upgrading your case.

I know, but still.... If the 3tb is for mass storage, what would u store? Normally big things are laggy, therefore they should be on a faster HDD, such as a 7200RPM HDD.

Comment reply on elfcommander's Completed Build: Darth Vader

  • 1 point

Yeah but for real, I mean come on that 5400RPM can slow down your boot up speed if your OS isnt on your SSD. Also things saved to your HDD launch and play slower with that 5400RPM, I mean come on, 7200RPM is obviously the better choice, and barely cost anymore.

But, the more RAM you have if you know how to use software such as Lasso to force it to focus your ram at that moment on one specific process, it runs much faster.
