Nice for the money (Got two and was able to get them under $200 each).

Docked a star because 144Hz is ONLY available via the DVI port and there is no Display Port.

Pretty nice panel, the 144 hz is totally worth the extra money because games are as smooth as butter and look really nice

I do not like the mount, you are very limited on your options for mounting, I wish it was taller, but the fact that you can change the angle is okay

The inputs are pretty good and I have some decent options, and the menu and navigation is pretty average

Does everything I want it to do at a reasonable price. Perfect for someone who wants "just enough", or if you're waiting to save up and buy the really nice monitor of your dreams.

Great picture for a TN panel. Super-responsive and 100+fps looks smoother than butter.

Uses same panel as the cheapest 144Hz 1ms Asus monitor, if you want alternatives. Stand looks cool with two-tone black and red, and you wouldn't believe it, but it's super solid. Doesn't adjust really.

Now I can see myself in perfect motion getting headshot'd by players better than I am! Or mauled by zombies that are smarter than I am! Or the gorgeous FPS of my car crashing into a tree because I'm a horrible GTAV driver! It's great! IT'S WONDERFUL.

I got this on sale for $150, and oh was it worth it. This monitor is incredibly smooth at 144Hz and I havent experienced any screen tearing. Cheapest 144Hz monitor on the market, but extremely good quality.

The best gaming monitor out there right now. It does not have a forwards-backwards tilt but has a great backlight and is essential in every gaming build.

from completed build BATPIMP's Mean Lean PIMP Machine!

I am basing my review upon what this monitor IS and what it DOES not in comparison to other monitors.

    Pros:

Great value, great performance, NO dead pixels (none), NO BSOD( blue screen of death).

    Cons:

No display port, no lightboost, no speakers, glossy finish on the edges, very bright

I DONT GIVE A CRAP about those things though.

This monitor is great for gamers who just need a no frills powerhouse machine.

It doesn't have light boost: I don't care because I have not experienced tearing, stuttering or ghosting.

This monitor doesn't have speakers: I don't care because I use headphones, PC speakers.

Very bright: This monitor is very bright don't get me wrong. This is the only thing i would say is worrying me for other users. I don't care about this because i don't get headaches and i actually like bright monitors.

No displayport: This means game will run at a max resolution of 1920x1080p. I don't mind this. I play FPS games like BF4, Evolve etc and want the best possible FPS. any higher resolutions and i would have gotten another monitor model for sure. Like i said earlier this monitor for me is what I will use until i get 1440p 144mhz 1ms gtg IPS Freesync monitor.

Please feel free to ask me any questions about this monitor. It is my main monitor and i use it every day!

from completed build Super 144hz build

(purchased a year before this build) no G-sync, not an IPS panel, hella bright, takes a long time to turn on, but it's a step up from the 1280 x 768 television I was using beforehand.

If you wanna play games at 144fps without all the bells and whistles, this is a good alternative pick.
