    I've gotten one of these before for as cheap as 67€, which is insane for 1TB SSD with DRAM cache. I wouldn't necessarily trust these drives with critical work, but for cheap expansion storage, they are great.

    These SSDs are regularly offered as Amazon Lightning Sales and at that price are far and away the cheapest 1TB SATA SSDs. Performance is surprisingly good however with the 1GB cache.

    I usually build with Samsung Pro SSDs. I dunno.. this was cheap and the reviews were solid so I thought I would give it a go. I keep everything valuable backed up to the cloud so I am not super-worried about a disk failure.
