What should I name my deer?

nonoesimposible

Since roughly two weeks ago, a buck has a been a frequent visitor to my backyard. He likes to lie down just below my window, so I can get very close without disturbing him.

Anyways, after seeing him so many times I decided he needed a proper name; of course my first thought for creative namers was the PCPP community (in fact, you've proven your proficiency before).

So, any suggestions?

Photos: (he's magnificent! lol)

I suppose that would be a fitting namesake, eh?
I suppose I could even name him after Manirelli's Fridge. lol

I'm sure Manirelli wouldn't mind... :P

How about after a Roman emperor. Like Julius, Tiberius, Claudius.

You could also name him A-Duck. Because he comes up to your house and the waddles. Waddle waddles away. Till the very next day.

I wonder if it likes lemonade though

Probably not, it prefers grapes

That's not a bad idea!

I’m not a huge fan of upvoting and agreeing with Nullarc77, but I must say: Tiberius all the way!

Tiberius all the way!

Nah, it'd have to be Nero Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus. lol

Name him Buck. Or Herne.

  • 1 point

Buck doesn't seem to fit his personality, but I like the Herne reference. Maybe he's not spooky enough for Herne but it's definitely something I'll think about.

He's got a nice wide rack on him. How about Moose?

Maybe I could call him Velvet or something more scientific than Fuzzy?

If he continues to visit, he will eventually lose the fuzz and the name might not be fitting anymore.

I’ll do you one better, I don’t even own a backyard. :P

How about a front yard deer? Not as fancy, but still a vital necessity.

I live in an apartment, so the only deer I would see is a plastic garden deer to make the garden feel like we’re in the forest :P

Someone needs to breed this one here a mini-deer for their garden.

Thanks! It's much lighter then a conventional lawnmower and also much easier to carry to the back yard.

Yep, quieter, doesn't need gas, doesn't throw stuff everywhere, just keep it sharp and no problems.
