How is the 9600k cooling, I heard it gets hot and needs a AIO or even a really good air cooler ( but the good air coolers are ugly big and have size problems in cases

Im looking to spend about 1300 on a build Don't plan to overclock

No it doesn't need an AIO to cool.

The refresh CPU actually run cooler then the models they replaced.

Doesn't it need a good AIR or AIO ( and the good air ones are really big and have compatibility with case and ram issues)

Either. A 240 mm AIO is good but a dark rock pro 4, scythe Mugen 5 rev b, or noctua d15 would be perfectly fine.

arnt those 3 air coolers huge and give problems for ram compatibility

Mugen 5 has no issues with either.

The DRP4 or D15 only have issues on boards that don't comply with Intels keep out zone and/or use the first available slot as x16 and you use a card with a high backplate.

Most decent air coolers now offset the fin array away from RAM and your PCIe slots so compatibility is not really much of an issue so long as the case can fit the cooler height.

Nope, not unless you are on mITX or a non standard board. Most of the time it works. The Mugen has no compatibility problems. A large heat sink is the best alternative to AIO.

I just build with dark rock pro 4 and no issues with ram. Even if you use the taller ones you can adjust the fans accordingly. It's amazing how quiet this thing keeps the cpu under load. Just make sure to install on motherboard before putting into case so that it doesn't become a challenge installing.
