Ryzen 7 1700X Back in Stock

Hello All,

Microcenter has the CPU back in stock for $150, this is a popular CPU choice when I was back in the store at Black Friday and people seem to go for this particular CPU due to the highest core count but I picked the 2600. Is there any particular noticeable difference between the two CPUs as there's a Youtube channel that I've watched called "Tech Deals" recommends the viewer to stop the breaks and buy the 1700X.

I'm curious to know for anyone who has the two CPU to see if there's any differences in terms of performance and behavior in a Asrock B450M-HDV motherboard since that's what I brought it with.

As for gaming the 2600 just barely outperforms the 1700x, and right now is $90 cheaper

Base from the stats, 1700X with its extra thread and cores has better performance in productivity tasks but otherwise there's been little changes in the new Zen+ architecture.
