Does PcPartPicker follow Black Friday in real time?

I am asking this because I was wondering if i should use pcpartpicker to look for good deals on black friday. Is there any amount of lag when searching for products on here? Will be completely up to date on the prices of items I am looking at? or will it take a couple of hours for the site to show the prices of items?

It depends on the site. Some update hourly and others take more time. Our prices should be pretty accurate for deals but you can always check the deals forum as well.

I would also suggest setting price alerts on items you are interested in purchasing.

Well my problem is that I dont really care about certain things like the hard drive... ram... as long as they meet some general specifications. So for most of my build Im just looking for the best deals.

Is there a way to set price alerts for stuff like that?
