No it is not. I'd get a 660 Ti or 760 for Adobe work. The 6450 is a waste of money, as are most cards under $100 unless you simply want to run secondary monitors off of them.

But for an Adobe pre-CC rendering GPU, 660 Ti has been the sweet spot. Don't get ones that cost more than maybe $230, because the 760 is a better deal at that point.

if you really plan on doing editing on more adobe based products, the 680 is the best one. It is one of the highest rated workstation cards, even though it is a gaming card.

Thanks for your reply. Do you really think such a nice card is neccessary for mostly just photoshop and lightroom? or would like a 7770 do the trick?
