I'm very pleased to announce that Daniel Harding and Jack Followay, Jr. have joined PCPartPicker!

Daniel (aka living180) is an expert Python programmer, and he'll be focusing on making sure PCPartPicker is operating smoothly and efficiently. He'll also help me with feature development throughout the site, as well as finding and fixing up the copious amounts of bugs I've introduced into the system over the last few years.

Jack (aka BoyScout) is also a seasoned developer, and he'll initially be working on… wait for it… the mobile version of PCPartPicker. He will also be helping with front-end features and our new benchmarking initiative. Jack is an avid builder, even going so far as to install a custom PC in his car!

I'm very excited to have both Daniel and Jack join the team! Both bring a wealth of experience and enthusiasm. Good things are ahead!

Awesome news! Now I can build computers while driving... that's safe right?

Welcome Daniel and Jack!

EDIT: Jack I remember your car build and came across it again today, just awesome!

Amen to the mobile site, it's been a real pain trying to update parts lists on my phone.

Welcome aboard!
I am very pleased to hear so much good news today. Philip, don't worry, I did not find that many bugs on the site. It's pretty well built and strong. You should have lots of pride for it. manirelli, Keep up the good work, you are really of good help and quickly became one of the pillars of this website. Daniel, good to hear you will resolve some bugs and improve the site's efficiency. Jack, I am happy you are here, with your arrival, many pending features will get released quicker than I expected.
Cheers to the new team.

EDIT: Can't wait to see how the benchmarking initiative will take form.

Awesome! Glad to hear you've added even more talent to the team!

I'm especially excited for a mobile version. I was actually thinking earlier today how fantastic that would be.

Great to see more joining PCPartPicker! I use this site on a daily basis and I am looking forward to improvements (racking my brain for what they could be..)

Mistechal 1 point 66 months ago

Glad to have you all on board to work on things. I do have to say i think i might have found a glitch in the system i am looking at building an amd build using the apu a10-6800k and the new asus a88x pro mother board but when i go to choose ram with the compatibility filter on it displays none once so ever. just thought i would throw that out there I am sure i can determine my self what will work but i figured i would let someone know.

philip staff submitter 10 Builds 3 points 66 months ago

Ah, sorry about that - it should be fixed now. The motherboard was incorrectly entered as supporting a max RAM amount of 0 GB, which obviously would be hard to support with any type of RAM...

Mistechal 1 point 66 months ago

thank you very much.I will try to check it out again

yay! been asking for this for ages Hopefully Android version is good and comes out soon!

Tigrium 1 point 66 months ago

I have a suggestion (I don't know where else to put it)

For Germany a major website that sells Computer Parts and is very well known amongst gamers here is Mindfactory. Maybe you can add their prices to your selection, or is that too far fetched?

gogo809 3 Builds 1 point 66 months ago

Congrats to the growing team. What do you think philip, has your dream come true? :)

Can I be hired to offer my great ideas to this website? Because I have a butt-ton. I already sent one about a way to order the monitors.
