Description

I use the system primarily for gaming. The case was actually donated to me from a friend along with the liquid cooling open loop system and graphics cards. I replaced the motherboard/cpu/ram and dropped in a 1TB SSD and 1TB HDD that I had on-hand.

The graphics cards are certainly out dated for the CPU, however, they are in SLI configuration and are also liquid cooled and included in the loop. I figured I would upgrade these at a future date as the price of GPUs begin to drop now that cryptomining is dying off and inflation is coming back down.

I am only gaming at 1080p currently, so the SLI cards play most games at max settings. Next upgrade will be a 4k, 144 hz IPS monitor followed by whatever current GPU that plays 4k the best at the time is.

The liquid cooling loop utilizes XSPC Raystorm CPU waterblock, XSPC reservoir/pump, clear tubes and UV Blue reactant coolant. I have 2 UV lights inside that make the coolant glow and give the interior of the case a blue effect.

I was wondering why you paired the 9700K with two 770s, but then I read your description.

Awesome build though. Kinda cool to see the reservoir outside the case. It's different! +1

Well, the radiator is too large to fit on the top of the case, runs into the RAM so it's stuck in the front. The GPUs are too long for the reservoir and the radiator to fit in the front of the case, so that left me with either a stand option outside or the mount over the top exhaust. Plus, the reservoir also has a spot for an LED plug in to illuminate that as well, figured i'll run an LED and light that up as well on the outside, should look pretty neat.

Thanks for the +1.

Really like this build. I'm all about getting your best bang for your buck. If you wanted to contain the pump/res to the inside of the case, I'd recommend something like the EK uni-brackets and then some res c clamps. You could have it horizontal at the very top of the case. I really like it though, nice work!

Your friend is VERY generous to give you that instead of selling it for some good moolah for it. You have some great friends. I wish i could have friends that were that generous
