This is my current setup for now intill i tweek some thing else
This is a cool build. Curiosity, why so much storage?
Dude video games take alot of room. I only have 55 games on steam, only 44 installed and my 2tb is almost done for. Not to mention any games coming out. So gaming = Lots of storage.
Bruh your hard drive must be screaming for help
Yeah..I just got my WD Black 2tb for christmas and I'm about ready for another drive. Might just get a SSD for my games that have slow load times, ARMA 3 and so on. And just move those over to there.
only 44 installed
only 44 installed
I have the smallest library of people I know, besides my girlfriend. Best part of PC gaming is sales, and short attention spans lol
the segate and wd drives are actually redundant storage
mostly downloaded movies tax returns pictures documents i load all my games on the ssds for faster load times and usualy have no more then 8 to 10 games installed at any point time
makes sense then
Whatever works for you. Did not mean to put people on defense. Was just curious if he did video editing or something. I have 1tb hard drive and I'm thinking of downsizing and upgrading to a smaller SSD because i only have 500gbs of used storage on my gaming rig.
bless your sould if you only use that much storage on a gaming build. I bought an 8Tb BarraCuda Pro with built-in vibration-reduction to house my massive collection of games, plus if I get into photography or graphic design, I have the headroom for it.
! I didnt even know they made 8tb drives! If buying multiple TBs is a more common thing than i thought. I could only wish there will be a cloud solution to your storage issues or install uninstall functions worked 10xs faster
i also have a 4tb wd my cloud because i am paranoid about data loss but iwant one of those 10 tb drives but thats just because " store all the thingz" XD
the advantage of the larger drives is they know you're already paying a big price premium on the massive storage, they can afford to actually make the drive better. WD Golds, Red Pros, and Seagate BarraCuda Pros now have improved vibration-reducing structures, its a much needed modification. I got my 8Tb BarraCuda Pro too look good and store everything ever until the drive fails. Pictures will be backed up, so it will really just be games and saved streams. then onto another 8Tb
they make 12TB drives now....
How do you like that case and how are the thermals for the gpu? Been eyeing that same case myself for a build I have coming up and am curious to hear the opinions of someone who has built in it
Edit: +1 btw. Looks great!
The case is great my thermals have been pretty good which was the main reason i switched to this case (had an Entho Lux Prevously)
Sweet. Thank you
