Description

Time for an upgrade. I was planning to make some upgades to my gaming pc and finally i decided to. First i was looking for a really decent and nice looking case and I found one this holidays the Cougar Panzer EVO RGB this case is a beast in my opinion and super nice looking. I decided to keep my old (5months) MOBO the Asrock Z370 Extreme4 because that way i could save some money for the other components but in the future i will replace it (or probably not). The CPU i finally decided for the I7 8700K because for the new I7 9700K i had to buy a new MOBO and remember i was trying to safe and at the end the performance is pretty much similar on both CPU´s and the new 9700K is kind of really hot so i got an I7 8700K instead. The CPU cooler i choosed the AIO Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML360R RGB because is super nice looking and also performs super good. I Got 16GB G.Skill Trident Z RGB 3200Mhz to make my system go faster and also more RGB. To finish the light it up set i got a Team Group T-FORCE DELTA RGB SSD 2.5" 250GB SATA III Internal RGB Solid State Drive and also I´m using some of my SSD and HD from my old system like the SSD PNY 500GB and a 2TB Western Digital Blue and for the main hardrive I´m using an ADATA XPG SX8000 128GB Gen3.4 M.2. I have some extras that I´m not going to mention here but will try to specify them on the Part List that I used. This system is performing relly good for the main purpose I built it, Gaming full time lol. I really dont like the CPU temperatures even with this cooler I´ve seen some 75+ under load at some games I know is normal but I´m coming from a non K CPU so the highest temperature I used to see is around 50, I think i need to get use to it, this CPU paired with my Asus Rog Strix 1080 TI 11GB is a really sweet experience for gaming, Ultra settings all time at 1440p with my MSI Optix MPG27CQ 1440p 1ms 144hz and 100+ FPS easily.

Part Reviews

CPU

Beast of CPU with a great performance. Fast and reliable with a long future ahead. Point to have in mind is Hot like hell.

CPU Cooler

Super Nice and good looking. Very good performance and super cool, one of the best 360mm AIO out there really easy. Point to have in mind at full speed could be kind of loud.

Thermal Compound

I´ll keep this one very simple. The best Thermal paste I´ve ever used.

Motherboard

It´s a good Motherboard but I feel like it could be better. Lack of funcionalities some times.

Memory

Amazing fast and super beautiful. Awesome performance.

Video Card

Monster GPU, sweet performance and runs very cool and quiet. No RTX needed for a while.

Case

The best case I ever had. The RGB fans are so pretty. Cablle management is really good in my opinion and the included a lot of extras in the package like a headset holder to attach to it and lot of extra cables and stuff. point to have in mind the RGB control box is a really pain in the a** to assemble it. I spended like 4 hours to finish to set up the components in this case, be ready to watch a lot of tutorial videos on youtube.

Power Supply

Monster PSU with a lot of nice features. All the performance and power that I need to run my huge RGB lights and my GPU.

Keyboard

Not the best. Upgrading to corsair soon.

Mouse

Is a good mouse for gaming but at the begining was too heavy so I had to remove the 3 extra weigth at the bottom.

Headphones

Amazing performance and 7.1 Quality all what i need for my games.

Custom

Nice complement for my Headsets and of course more RGB lol.

Custom

Fast and reliable with decent reading/write speeds and also RGB.
