I think i did it right; i want to thank reddit, amazon prime day and the release of all the new stuff.
First Build? Amazingly well done. A+
ye first build, thank you
"its not much"... Nice build
I love the 2 different rgb fan brands
Which cable sleeves did you use? They look good.
cable mod pro cables i believe, got them on amazon
It looks so pretty also what power cables did you useb
Hey I'm looking to make a similar build. I'm curious where you got your white cable extensions?
Did you replace the front two fans for the liquid cooling system?
yep, i put one of the 140 fans on top and have the other one just in case
This is really similar to my build, which has me excited to put mine all together.
Toying with ditching the H150i for a Noctua air cooler for long term reliability, but I do like how clean the water coolers are.
lol white aio for the aesthetic, thank you tho
Would the Noctua air cooler fit in the Meshify case (with x570 and 2080 Super)? I am debating the same questions but I'm concerned about the sizing issues!
Nice, how does it perform
Well according to the specs about every game in 4k 30fps at Least
4K 60 FPS + , 3440x1440 120 FPS , 2560x1440 144 FPS , 1080p 240 FPS in AAA titles on my RTX 2080 SUPER FE paired with an i9-9900K @5GHz and 32GB DDR4 RAM at 3600Mhz.
pretty well, cooling isn't that bad.
better than my PC
u got that 2080 ti lightning z don't u?
I think you did it right too. H510 so hot right now.
lol thank you
This Build looks so amazing, i may steal this
go ahead, I stole some ideas too
Very clean. Looks good.
much appreciated thank you
Nice build! I actually really like the AIO tubing tucked behind the 24 pin. It looks really clean.
Thanks lol, got inspiration from someone on reddit
This is one of the best builds ive seen given whats being used. I just commented trying to give some advice to someone who spent 5,500 on a single build, he bought a few things you wouldnt normally get but still, he didnt have much experience and just blew thousands. I know because he said hes never needed to go into any bios befire and was pairing weird products together. good job man this should be a copy and paste for some people. especially with the 3700x, its got such a low energy usage it barely ever needs an aio cooler but is still a good idea to have one for constant overclocks.
ye i overclocked my 3700x to 4.25Ghz at 1.3V, pretty rubbish case in general tho. But i like the aesthetics of it
thats a damn good overclock, uses like 35- 40 percent less energy than the 3900x, even the 3800x uses a bunch of power. You no like the case? NZXT isnt super highend but they did a good change for airflow with the pull push system, you should try thermaltakes view 71 tg rgb case, its like 20 bucks more and really good airflow and cable managements easier as well.
ye i hopefully it gets better when asrock releases boost clock fix for mobo. i dont like the case for the price tbh. i right now i just have pull on the radiator but i could do push i think i have enough clearance. tbh i probably wont be changing much about this pc maybe if i win the lotto ill get a 2080ti lol
Lmao it would take the lotto to get one of those bad boys for sure. Word ive been reading about recently is apparently theres an asian developer that has their hands in the gpu market and is supposed to give amd and nvidia a run for their money. AMD has been getting better too. Comparatively to what they were doing a few years back and beyond. good things will be coming for us all in 2020. fingers crossed
not sure if this is just me but the cable over the aio tube is like mad aggravating to me
i thought it looked cool
how did this really great hardware and beautiful design go for 1400??? really nice build.
All this for only 1400? Where does it say that? I'm looking for the same build, pretty close to it.
Thanks to amazon prime day tbh
Honestly, that is a clean looking build. I wanted to get the 2080 super, but i couldnt find any so i got the 2080 trio instead. Other than the case, mobo, and ryzen 3 we have the same build. Over all, I'm jealous of yours.
I was lucky and i was awake when these first released. So i was one of the first, it sold out in like 2mins. Im pretty sure your build is amazing too. I love this
How do you deal with all of the RGB? What software do you use to get them all to sync? Your mobo software?
lol i have to use different ones, icue for aio cam for fans and case, g skill for ram, asrock for mobo, precision for GPU
Hey Kelvin! Really liking the build and I'm doing something a little similar my question is how did you approach the fan situation did you have some extras? The m100i comes with two and the case comes with 2. I'm assuming you used the 2 that come with the case and mounted them to the radiator and then put the 2 for the m100i in the back for exhaust?
This question is interesting for me too.
Can I use the fans from corsair for back and up of case? In part list you have one Nzxt aer rgb listed is it necessary?
So i used 1 of the aer 140 fans (included) in the top as exhaust and i bought a aer 120 fans in back as exhaust then used the aio as stock as intake. i have a spare 120 non rgb fan and an aer 140 fan that were included.
What is/are the RGB software you use?
He says "Its not much"
He puts a geforce rtx 2080 SUPER in it.
He says "Its not much"
He puts brand new G.Skill trident z neo RAM in and a brand new ryzen 7 3700x.
tried to go for brand new, not much build
How did you mount the radiator for the cooler? I copied you and someone else re this case and cooler and can't seem to mount it :(
Also doesn't the pump come with thermal paste applied?
ye i had trouble with that in the beginning, so u have to put the fan mount in between the fans and the rad. so the radiator, mount then fan and it works. the pump did but i messed up the installation i was getting 60 degrees idle, when i reapplied im getting high 30s/low 40s idle and 60s under load.
How did you connect all the fans and control the rgb
i connected the nzxt aer fans to the smart device and the corsair ones together. i use cam for the nzxt aer fans and icue for the aio
Wait so the nzxt hub can be used for both for nzxt and corsair fan rgb as well?
na im using separate programs
Do you have any pics with the panel on
ill try and post one right now if u want
Edit: just posted/updated pictures
How is the graphics card performance overall so far? and what are the temperatures on load ?
its actually pretty good. i get over 100fps on high settings on all games basically. and for the cpu, max is like mid to high 60.
That GPU Sag tho :|
It is much. Nice!
honestly amazing build, more pictures please
So, wait, do you not need NZXT Hue+ controller to control the Aer fans?
it came with the case
I'm still confused because I don't see it anywhere. Is the controller outside of the case, hiding behind it?
I'm a noobie at this, first-time building ever so I was wondering if you can answer a few questions
-for the RGB case fans do you have to buy 2?
-does the Corsair Liquid cooling require active water refilling or require an external water source
-for the Cable, did you buy cables (C-series that had individual cables) or the Pro-Series Cable KIT
-Thanks again; awesome aesthetics
the cables are cablemodes but you can get something similar on amazon for less if youre on a budget
for the Case Fans: NZXT AER RGB 2 Fans @ $27.99 (top & back fans) did you have to buy those separately or did it came with the NZXT Tower?
im not op but im pretty sure they come with the case
Thx for reply mate, I was wondering hows the CPU & GPU temperature when you are playing games.
Debating of I should stick with this case or the Lian-Li PC-O11 Dynamic
-Base on what I've read looks like this case might keep temperatures cooler but I could be wrong
lian li has lower temps (if you're water cooling) and looks much better, also more room and no psu shroud at the bottom
2 140 fans actually came with the case but i replaced them for my aio. the aio will NOT need external water source. i bought the pro series cable kit on amazon from cable mod.
Yo mate how's you make the corsair rgb fans work? Did you use the nzxt commander?
i just chained them to the lighting for the actual cpu cooler
Does the 2 120's in the front look weird? Ive been debating on buying this case or not and I really want to pair it with this nice *** white corsair cooler but I thought it would look off having only 2 120's when the case is supposed to have 140s. My other option is getting a kraken x62 and going all out NZXT... Also I reccomend a white GPU backplate, would make the build sooo sexy, but all around great build man.
do o11d and all out corsair with the white corsair cooler. o11d sexy
i think it looks nice but i get what youre saying, i looks like theres space that needs to be filled. i wanted it specifically for the white aesthetic but i think the x62 will be better cooling anyway. and i want to get a white gpu backplate just dont know where. thank you
can you post some more pictures please?
Love the build and I'm interested in my first build with this case as well. Just a noob question for you. Could you have put the AIO on the top of the case rather than the front?
no, h510 elite only has support for a front rad
only 120 fan will fit on top and back
thanks and unfortunately for this case, only a 240 or 280 aio will fit in the front. theres only a single 120 or 140 fan up top
You should've covered the GPU heatsink with one of those NZXT covers. Nice build anyways. +1
might look into doing that, appreciate it bro
where do i get them?
I think they’re part of a GPU liquid cooling kit but you can probably buy them separately from some third-party seller.
corsair aio, g skill ram, nzxt fans, azrock mobo, and evga gpu??? I swear dude you gonna have a rough time synchronizing lighting lol. it gonna take you an hour just to switch all the lights to the same color
bro theres like 5 different programs, but i set it once and havent touched it since
loool bro theres like 5 different programs. i set it once and havent touched it since
This is gorgeous and I'm about to build a similar one. Question I can't find answered anywhere else: Does it make sense at all to buy an RGB PSU or does that mesh shroud completely cover any light it might throw up into the case?
it makes no sense to get an rgb psu at all unless its from a reputable brand and costs less then a non rgb variant. most of the time on cases the shroud covers the psu, and if it doesnt then the rgb will barely shine through
