NOTE: ANYONE WHO HAS QUESTIONS, PLEASE SEND THEM TO MY NEW ACCOUNT, TheMTech! I DO NOT USE THIS ONE ANYMORE!
EDIT: I feel sorry for the guy who spent $4600+ and probably hours of work for an ultimate editing rig, while I spent $200 and two hours building and filming a video and am drowning in karma. Sorry to /u/wvondrak!
As a pre-note, the prices may seem low. But they are. I had to patrol Ebay for quite some time to find these deals (i.e. people who sold new or like new items with one hour bid times (to pressure people into bidding, I presume), hoping the bidding would reach over market value). But I won. I won them all. So, I decided to make an extremely cheap build. RAM was free with motherboard, and I already had the TX3 from a previous build. Most parts were either new in box or "like new"
Sorry for the lack of pictures, but in my defense, I was filming a YouTube video. You can check it out here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GvdBf8xYQZo
Everywhere on PCPartPicker, I see the word "budget" being thrown around lightly. $500? $750? Even $1250?!? No. They are all wrong. THIS is budget.
For about the price of 200 McDonalds hamburgers, I forged the [nearly] perfect MicroATX system, one that could actually sort of game. However, this build did not come without challenges. Cable management was almost non-existent, the bottom panel connectors were a PAIN to get in, and my stock heatsink was faulty, nearly destroying my so painstakingly earned CPU. But, in the end, everything worked out fine, and I actually think the cable management isn't too bad for a case this size.
This case pains me. It gave me cramps from trying to install the front panel connectors, it made me pull a muscle (if that's even possible), and it has little to no airflow. I barely made it work, but it was all worth it.
Thanks to everyone at Ebay who sold me stuff! I love you!
