So far I've played lots of video games, done some 3D modeling and setup a virtual machine and it runs all of these things extraordinarily well. I can multitask with several processor intensive programs and still be fine. The one thing I would note is that the processor tends to get rather high with this water cooler. I would personally appreciate a better performing cooler to keep my CPU temps well below 60 while gaming. However, I have been mildly overclocking it to about 4.5 GHz, so I expected slightly higher temperatures.
It's a solid mid-range water cooler. It tends to work as well as some equally priced air coolers. If you're looking for a powerful water cooler to keep your CPU working cool under high-stress loads or are planning on overclocking a lot, I would generally not suggest this for you.
