Build looks sick, did your ram managed to clock in at 3000? Also how is that ssd doing right now, I have seen many blues but not greens.

Wow, i just did a BIOS update to version F10, restarted my PC, went to BIOS setup MIT, Changed Extreme Memory Profile XMP to Profile 1, it automatically detected 2933 MHz best possible frequency. I saved with and restarted, now my system RAM is running at 2933 MHz.

Nice man, not many people can get that high. Has it made your pc more snappy?

naushad786 submitter 1 Build 1 point 7 months ago

Yes, this is a beast now or 1080p gaming. I was playing Assassin's Creed Origins on my FX-8350, game play was not smooth, and sometime it feel game is fast forwarding. Also CPU was going 80% - 90%.

Now with Ryzen 1700x, it's very smooth, no lags. CPU load is 40 - 45%.

And to get the 2933 Mhz memory on this motherboard. You need to upgrade the BIOS to version F10, then only you will get 2933 Mhz, or else you will get 2133 Mhz.

RAM is running @ 2133 Mhz, I didn't tried to overclock. SSD is fine, no issues.

Will this card handle bf1? Or any of the battlefield's really. I'll be using this for strictly gaming and long hours of it.

naushad786 submitter 1 Build 1 point 3 months ago

Yes, it will handle BF1, the point is you have to use it on 1080p monitor.

What do you mean by OP?

Soul_Est 1 point 7 months ago

OP == Over Powered

naushad786 submitter 1 Build 1 point 7 months ago

Yes, initially i thought for Ryzen 7 1700, then i saw the price difference between 1700 and 1700x is around 5000 Rs (77 USD), I went for the best 1700x. In near future when i will upgrade my GPU to GTX 1080 and 1440p monitor, this will help me.

I wouldn’t buy the X variant. Usually you can just over clock your non X version to the speeds of said X variant processor. Nice build though!
