Description

This is my first ever pc build. it turned out as i expected and i am very satisfied with it. I made this PC as Hackintosh where i can boot to windows 10 or MacOs as i needed. i used mostly top of the line and high performance parts. however i could not able to use Nvidia RTX card as its not supported by macOS. that is the reason i went with fully supported AMD card. i am not a hard core PC gamer. so thats not really a problem. i use mac side for video editing and content creation as i use final cut pro. i use windows side for gaming and computer programming. i didn't realy run in to any problem build this Pc. However, getting macOS working on this was big headache. after long setting and tweaking, i have perfectly working mac and windows in a single machine.

I've never seen a computer dual boot mac os and Windows 10. Is it actually legal though? However, that looks like a nice PC you got there.

It breaks Apple's EULA for Mac OS, but it's not illegal as long as you're not distributing the OS, it's just unsupported. If you're interested, look up TonyMacx86 to see what all is involved to do it legally

That's a really cool build. I don't know what goes behind getting a "Hackintosh" computer, but that's so cool you got both OS's to work on one machine. :)

I think this machine should do you well, especially with cpu oriented tasks!

Can you help me with the hackintosh part? I want to do the same, do a very powerful computer for editing in final cut pro, but I don't know anything about Linux, or how Hackintosh works. If you give a full and step by step guide on how to do this I will gladly pay the price, you give me your price, and I will see if I can pay it. I have been saving for three years for a very good computer, for editing, and I want a Hackintosh, a fully functional mac, with the latest macOS.

Thanks! Have you taken any benchmarks? Do you have the FPS in your games or the export time in FCPX? The problem I have is that I don't know what to look for online. Here is my parts list, if you have a step by step guide on how to do it, or tell me what to search for I really don't know anything about Hackintosh. https://pcpartpicker.com/user/alexlvsayt/saved/tBZ8Mp

Hi, nice build! I'm planning my second build using the same mobo, and I'd like to know if you've had any problem with fitting the two samsung M.2 cards. I've read that the two M.2 slots effectively share space (head-to-head M.2 positioning) and if the SSD M.2 devices are too long it could be a problem!

U can use 2 m.2 as long as u use 2280 one. 2 of those will pefctly fit. If u any thing longer than that, then u can use only slot as other one pass over the next slot
